Edward Curtis is widely known for staging his photographs. They are not an accurate representation of Native culture, but merely a representation of white Europeans imposing their concept of the "Wild Savage" onto Native Americans. It's European subjugation at its best.

Hogwash, you know nothing and are just repeating something you've heard and has been long discounted, even by the original author who wrote it. This same group of photos are appearing all over the net and they're not even Apaches. You've got Hopis, Navahos and various other tribes.
