Looks like they can't even afford real jails in USA. Look at what they have in the Europe... so much better, but I guess the EU has more money too. The point of jail is to educate people so they won't commit crimes again.. not to punish them so they become bitter and become criminals again. So sad that they can't afford real jails in USA..

Pennsylvanians rallying there in Arizona on Saturday June 5th in 107 degree sun helped make the support Arizona rally a success. Really wish I could have went, but I have been following this really cool poll, and you are only allowed to vote one time. When you click back on the link later all you view is the latest number of votes. A friend in Virginia sent me this poll, another friend in Texas said a few other ones are also out and have similar numbers.

For God’s sake Mr. President all Americans have had enough of this liberal bull-crap. I do not believe all these individuals could fit into DC, but I do know they all want to stuff their numbers down your throat.
Look at what the people which built the corrupt Luzerne County Pa. are facing here; our property taxes reassessed for 2009 almost doubling and another 15% tax hike again Jan. 2010. Not even a COLA increase for many, many homeowners, we have nothing left but our blood, and you do not want to buy mine because I have had to use government run VA hell-care for 31 years.

We CAN afford real jails. The point of Tent City is to treat criminals like criminals. They ARE educated but Sheriff Joe has very particular ideas on how to treat his prisoners.
In Tent City, criminals are made to wear prison stripes as you can see and they are given the demeaning color of pink for their underwear. They are only allowed to read approved magazines, watch educational programming and are read a bedtime story via video by Sheriff Joe every night. They are fed ostrich meat and green baloney. They work on chain gangs to clean up the community and yes, there is no air conditioning out in those tents. They must adhere to Sheriff Joe's grooming standards as well.
ALL OF IT is done for the purpose of rehabilitation... After all, wouldn't you want to straighten up to avoid jail if you had to live like these fellows? He must be doing something right for his county as Sheriff Joe has been re-elected four times since he became Sheriff in 1992.
