At 58, he thought he was too old for the role, and also didn't fancy being tied to a film series. Grant starred in just three movies after that - wonder if Bond would have kept him going well past his pension?

Psycho needs a crazy actor and Bale is the right one for the job. Leo will never be as crazy as Bale. Bale is a true psycho that's why he's the best for the role.
