Alexander Maltsev from Russia doesn’t pay attention to jokes and laughs he often hears from girls, because he is the only boy in his synchro swimming group. Synchronized swimming combines swimming, dancing and gymnastics. Olympic and World Championship competition is not open to men. Still guys can compete in local competitions. Challenges don’t scare Alexander away, and he is doing his best to show off his strength, flexibility, and aerobic endurance. He is the best “water ballet dancer” in his group, and he proves that sometimes boys are better then many girls if they do everything to make their wishes come true.
