I had my Macbook for three years, my iPod Video for 4 years, and an iPhone since it first came out. I still have the same earphones I got with my original iPhone and iPod and everything still works. Maybe people need to be a little more careful with technology.

i mostly got microsoft things, like my laptop, but i don't agree with microsoft users to bash all apple products. all my friends know that apple is more stable than microsoft but is more expensive. my brother's ipod has been in use for YEARS and it is still not broken.

I just got a brand new Macbook for school since it is better for the field i'm getting into(Graphic arts) and it came with an IPod touch (mind you i got all this with my course.) Even though i love my Macbook, I can't bash Microsoft, I have had my desktop PC (a hewlett Packard) for 10 years, i may have to reformat twice a year and it's a bit on the slow side but it still works. I do prefer my macbook though and i'll probably upgrade to a better PC for non-work related usage in the future (like for PC games or keep all my photos on it...etc).
Their both good products, maybe it all just comes down on what your using it for.
