just imagine if they put that money to do some good stuff..like houses for poor people or to help some shildren...in the name of the war we spend money for the interes of some very rich people...we must evolve!!!!

Don't be so stupid, apparently at some point it was more cost efficient to dump this old crap and switch to something better. Maintenance cost for this stuff is ridiculous.
Yes the world would be better of if even a small portion of arms money went to good use, but face it, no ruler is in it for the good of the people.

Also as with all things war isn't completely useless,without it much of the technologies we have today wouldn't exist.However I think we can all agree that The United States shouldn't be allowed to go to war,since firstly they've never won a war on their own(except the civil war which only half of them lost),more of their soldiers kill themselves then die in combat and as their allies would tell you...Friendly fire isn't.
