Yeah pretty cool! There was a programme on over here in England recently called Inside Natures Giants where they did an autopsy on a python and showed all the ribs etc. Was really interesting :)
I saw a scientific paper over this, it explains that the animal is shred to pieces until he gets to the part near the tail, were it is digested by the pyton's stomack's gastric juice.
