#5 I agree with most of the facts except that Christ wasn't born on the 25th.Most historians would agree that he was born in September.Christians Have christmas in December because when the religion was introduced into society,celebrations fell on days of pagan importance as not to oppose tradition.Many of the pagan rituals such as the tree(A tree spirit),yule(yule refers to the pagan symbol of the wheel) and mistletoe(used in ritual of fertility) have carried on.The same thing happened with easter.
At the end of the day whatever you want to believe is the one you'll find supporting evidence for.
@dagbjerk Your link only addresses the Pagan issue. Since when have Egyptian and Hindu figures of religion had anything to do with Paganism? Let's see some more links! You've got a few more older religions to go.
