They thought it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to built a rocket har har. Honestly, they worship cows, use wheeled cardborad boxes as cars and throw their loved ones to rot in the same river they bathe in. Shocking news the rocket was a pos :)
Picture 7 the last one before the embedded video is a frame capture from the 1986 of the space shuttle challenger and if you go to 1:08 all the details match in this video. http://www.wired.com/video/challenger-explodes-killing-crew/47064941001
SRIHARIKOTA: The launch of the Geo-Synchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV-F06) from here on Saturday ended in a failure, with the vehicle losing control 47 seconds after its flight, breaking up into pieces and erupting into a ball of flame.
As the vehicle veered off the safety corridor and the flaming debris could have fallen on the residential areas around Sriharikota, Range Safety Officer (RSO) V.K. Srivastava pressed the “destruct” button and the explosives around the vehicle ignited and destroyed it.
scar2496, They are doing exactly that in 2016. Actually the US had similar issues before the first manned space flight, the would-be pilots watching the test vechicle explode to million pieses and waiting to be on the next one in a few months... sucks.
