If those rats were truly intelligent, they would be wary of that fat bitch - she'll probably eat some of them as a snack.

I can understand having a newborn rat baby and raise it as your pet but the rat's that hang out in sewers and what have yous are disease infested vermin that should be avoided.

Well, DUH, you don't take a rat off the street and call it a pet. These are "fancy" rats that are sold at pet stores and breeders. I've had pet rats for 12 years and my house never feels complete without the furry pitter patter of little rattie feet.

Domestic rats are very affectionate and clean. Unlike their nasty city counterparts!

Rats (the domesticated ones) are more loyal to a single person than a dog.

Did anyone see that episode of Hoarders on A&E with the guy that "accidentally" let his rats take over his house? They took out over 2000 rats!!! CRAZY!

Their friends have learned to adapt and get along with the furry vermin some of them have even played with the furry little beasties.  The rat loving couple will even be making an appearance on television showing off how this unusual couple and their 27 rat pets live.

Learn Something Fun: Gambian Pouch Rats have been trained to sniff out mines in war torn countries - due to their light weight they are far less likely to explode the mines then sniffer dogs are.
