In 2010 the number one wanted dog was the Labrador Retriever according to the AKC registration stats.

Other dogs that hit the top ten most wanted list for pooches was German Sheppard’s, Yorkshire terriers, Beagles,Ggolden Retrievers,Bbulldogs,Bboxers, Dachshunds, Poodles, and Shih Tzu’s.

Keep in mind that this top ten doesn’t include those cuties we pick up at the shelters. I think Mutt is number one, if you go by their stats;)
