steel melting point = 84 kJ/kg

5600 kW max. sorry. my mistake.

you can use only 42% of that power for steel and 20% for aluminium (opacity). sooo... it should work but only on very small area and for very small/thin pieces of metal

Well, I think I've seen a video like this but it's not mirror, it's like a huge magnifying glass. Well, I think if you properly allign all those mirrors, I think you could almost get the same effect? but not that powerful as a huge magnifying glass
