that's how we use to receive most of our hardware in the navy. Each screw or connector was individually wrapped and we had to store them that way and account for every single one used. Can you say anal? lol

Someone in the Dell shipping department is not familiar with the concept of saving resources. An amused Dell costumer got the shock of his life when he unpacked 65 tiny screws from Dell each shipped in a different envelope. To add to the madness, each envelope had a list of inventory attached with the same hardware information repeated ten times per screw. Ridiculous is an understatement in this case, don’t you think so?
