In picture #21, he looks unwell. I read that in 2000, he was diagnosed with cancer. No other details, such as what kind it was or if it was successfully treated -- only that he had it. Maybe just another fabrication about the man?
In picture #2, why is he walking with that crutch? I've noticed several pics in which he is using what appears to be a cane or a baton as a walking or standing support. Did he sustain some sort of leg or foot injury, or was it simply a case of arthritis as he aged? Could that be why he had a "phobia" about climbing more than 35 steps in a staircase?
