How do they repair their vehicle? Parts must be very hard to find and I would think finding a radiator in the middle of the desert would be a challenge.

i've often considered doing the entire Pan American, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, in a Unimog. they can be purchased at either end, by previous trekkies.
