@ 37: I have looked it up (who is the most charitable country in the entire World?). Absolute amount: yes, USA. As a percentage of their gross national income: USA is not even in the top 10 (19th). As donation per citizen: again not even in the top ten. So STFU.
My country (Netherlands), who supposed to be cheap (go Dutch) is 6th with $38.6/citizen (USA $14.4/citizen), 7th in terms of absolute amount (even if we are a very small coutry) and 5th in terms of percentage of their gross national income.
