I also used to live in China and only saw 1-2 old women with feet like this because this practice stopped a hundred years ago.
I think posts like this are very misinformed - it's like showing pictures of slaves or Native American's in the US being repressed in the 1900's and calling it "Scary American Traditions" - of course it's true and terrible but it's history, not current events.
