This is the Orbiter Discovery that was taken on picutre by astronaut Paolo Nespoli from the International Space Station. By the way, the shadow that can be seen on the Orbiter is cast by the ISS itself.
Some are fails, though funny, some are unfortunate and some are outrageously hilarious.
A must-see.
You never know what you might find inside a meal for a child. Here are just some of the many odd toys given to children in a happy meal at fast food restaurants. When you read this you might have fond memories of eating out. These aren’t added in any order of oddity, they just seemed to scream Happy Meal to us!

These are the Jiuxiang Caves situated in China. It has been found that the caves in Jiuxiang are the largest cave group system with the most numerous karst caves in the country. There are plenty of stalactites of different forms, shapes and colors as well as waterfalls, valleys and a large number of natural bridges. All of it creates beautiful underground world.
That’s right this might be the smallest collection of books in the world. When I say small, I mean miniature.
The particularity of these images is that they accurately illustrate the headlines. The author of these drawing wrote: “Each weekday I find a headline on a major news site, and illustrate it without reading a word of the story.”

This is a set of pictures of the human planet. It was filmed by photographer Timothy Allen. It offers views of the deep waters of the pacific to the mountaintops of Mongolia to Africa’s dense jungles to the icy Arctic. It is an amazing piece of work.
These are photos of the 8.9 earthquake that shook the northeast coast of Japan today. The earthquake was followed by a tsunami and aftershocks like fires and a landslide. Some parts of Honshu were under water when a wave swept ashore.
These are menus from Subway restaurants from all over the world. Subway has officially become the world’s largest food chain with restaurants in 95 countries. There are even some cool Subway restaurants in Iraq.

Meet the Ribbon Seal. They can be found in the Subarctic and the Arctic areas of the North Pacific in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea. They are known for their black skin, which has four white markings; a circular marking on each side of their body that encloses the front fins and a strip around the tail and one around the neck.
