wtf, dreads don't automaticly mean, they don't wash their hair ... #1, #3, #6, #7 are pretty well-kept... the others are just disgusting or faked... brrr
@drrrz: Lol, your examples are actually fake. Those people spent a lot of cash inside hair salons to make their fake dreadlocks using bunch of chemicals, and #6 are definitely extensions. BTW, #8 is Adam Duritz from Counting Crows.
lots of Jamaicans got dreadlocks and wash their hair, you can have dreadlocks and wash them every two day. stop being a hater while you don't know the first thing about this subject
I had dreadlock during 5 years and still some left on my head and I washed them everyweeks, no problem, you can have dreadz and smell good ! You just need to take a little care of your haircut... like any other...
I just gave a presentation on it, amazing how people all have an opinion on something but don't know what they're talking about. Clean hair dreads faster so it's best to keep them as clean as possible. Only problem is hair will fall out of the lock during the maturing process (1-2 years) and this requires maintenance. Either keep up with the maintenance, slow down on the washing or find a balance. Just because it looks messy doesn't mean they're dirty, it's a process. Dreaducation 101. Glad I could oblige - somebody with dreadlocks.
Oh by the way, PROMOE kicks ass and is way more intelligent than you are.

@swede:
You mean Looptroop Rockers.
I don't know how anyone can handle living that way. I can't stand going without washing my hair for two days, let alone forever.
