There won’t be a happily ever after for The Bachelor’s Brad Womack and the woman he gave the last rose to and declared “the one” in a fairytale proposal during the show’s finale earlier this year. Emily Maynard confirmed that the couple split not too long ago and she has already returned the $50,000 Neil Lane engagement ring back to The Bachelor’s producers. Maynard says the split was mutual noting that just because they love each other doesn’t mean they are right for each other. The couple has endured one rough patch after another since they got engaged and while they both say plenty of reasons contributed to their parting ways, the chief reason given for the split was Womack’s struggle to be a hands-on parent to Maynard’s toddler daughter Ricki.
