the video is a little outdated- recently it was found that the milky way, even though it has less stars, was probably about equal in mass to andromeda. it seems that andromeda has more star matter holding it together while ours has more dark matter holding it together.
fun fact: andromeda and the milky way are going to crash together, probably to merge into a larger galaxy, in about four billion years.
