unless these people were among the first wave of skateboard makers, i seriously question whether this group has really invented anything new.
the original skateboards were in fact 'surfboards for the street' right from the beginning, and since then (the early 60's), there have been tens of thousands of size and type variations. and i've personally seen models almost exactly like this from decades ago...
