Wow, I don't think I've ever seen anything as stupid as building a computer case out of literal insulation. All those fans, and all that airflow normal cases have, yeah, that's for suckers.
Just checking the PC anyway, it seems to be an old 386/486/Pentium 1 system, those thing didn't even need cooling on their CPU as it didn't even heat enough to require any.
I don't even think it'll matter at all except gaining only a few little degrees.
i like the idea of the milkcrate case, actually. but i would have used something like plastic tie-wraps to secure the components. might have cut up a second crate to make some shelving and internal structure, too...
