Can’t wait to see one of the most “thriving” centers of amusement? Welcome to North Korea. Local Mangyongdae funfair sends chills down the spine as soon as you mention its name. This place is nearly always empty, as ordinary North Koreans, for some reason, avoid it.

No wonder they do. The park’s rides are so ramshackle that locals are recruited to test the rides for safety before foreign visitors are invited to come here.
