How do you get $60,000 in damages when the top of the line model is only $65,000. Unless that bear went to town on the engine and exterior too I don't think it was that much.

Actually Damages take into account parts and LABOR.
So yes you can easily exceed the value of the car for repairs. Why do you think insurance companies call some damages a total loss?

LOL...Fucking Toyota. Good riddance and I agree, that peice of shit isn't worth 60,000 never mind that much in damage. If that Toyota is listing for that much, there are some really, really stupid people in the world.
