Or you could man up and use your heel on the edge of the wheel and avoid all of that wasted effort...

Or, after removing the lug nuts, you could slowly lower the vehicle down so that once the immense weight is put back on the wheel it will break it's hold...

sometimes they get rusted on. Loosen the lugs and drive it until the you hear the wheel pop.

Quite often whhels will get stuck due to the contact of aluminum and steel. The others are right. Loosen the lug nuts, lower the car and move the car. This generally will break the seal.
