I'd see 'construction' workers in Pakistan doing similar antics out of necessity...and always recognized how silly they looked - like ignorant peasants making do. I guess it was the same in the US in the 20s an 30s. No doubt the average American will hold these guys as the real heroes and government regulations as namby pamby rules. Save yourself, start thinking harder.
