I did something similar to a friend at his bday.
I bought him Skyrim, took out a larger box, dropped the game at the bottom, made a fake bottom on top of it, then wrapped 2 bricks with newspapers on top, sealed the box, wrapped it and handed it to him. The reaction was worth it :P
