Modern electron and complex optical microscopes let us see things with a magnification which seemed unbelievable just a few decades ago.
Chris Arnade created a photo project named "Faces of Addiction." He walks South Bronx, talks to local drug addicts and makes their close-up portraits. Chris claims that he’s not a journalist – he doesn’t verify facts but just listens to people’s stories. Here are some pictures from Arnade’s collection.
