The presumtion that they are not inapyg taxes is largely untrue. Many work under social security numbers (not their own) and are on payroll so they pay into a system that they will never get to collect from, just to work here. To the extent that they are payed in cash with no 1099s or record of pay is the fault of the employers not the undocumented and in fact is a crime. While we wait for a legal pathway to be legislated let's go after these employers and put some of them in jail. The root of the problem is the employers desire for cheap wages earned by people who can't complain.
