Sort of like the mother who gives her son two ties, one red the other blue. He shows up for dinner wearing the red tie. The mom says "What?!, you don't like the blue one?!"

Easily solved problem. Give the woman a deadline to be ready. At that time, if she's not ready, leave without her. After a few times, she'll either be ready in time or you will have moved onto a new woman that values your time better.
