#20 I don't get it. Art is too profound to understand.

Even 1000$ is too much for a painting. It's funny how to-be artist goes to an art school, learns different painting techniques etc. and then makes some "masterpiece" that uses painting technique, color and style to "code" his message, whatever it might be. Then he puts it on the wall for everyone to see, but only those who have also studied painting can decode it. Or at least they think they have decoded it... To us normal peole it's just meaningless shit like picture #20. I've seen similar "paintings" made by house painters, who uses a piece of cardboard under his feet to prevent paint spilling on the floor. Greatest sham ever. If I could convince some air-headed world famous art critic that I'm the next Van Gogh, I would go travelling abroad until I got bloody diarrhea from bad food. Then I would wipe my ass on different size canvases and sell them for $100 million each. And everyone would be happy.

Art is always about "something hidden." But does it help us connect with that hidden something? I think it moves us away from it.

art is a feeling inside, a movement, a story that many will never understand..

I have never understood art. #20 looks like someone got shot and fell into a pool of mustard. People spend like 10 minutes on a painting that's worth millions of dollars while another person spends a year on a painting that's worthless. I don't get it.

Go to the Hermitage in St. Petersburg and visit the Picasso room. It all makes more sense when you see it in person. He's fucking incredible!
