I never thought my college would one day go viral. :p

It actually was a storage area where paper, cardboard, plastic bottles and other stuff were stocked to be recycled. It was right outside the premises of the City Institute of the University of Technology, which is located about 25km away from the main university campus. These were not "shanties", and thank god, there were no victims. These pictures have been a big thing in China, where people both found them cool, and other criticized them (Chinese netizens are something special, dear lord).

The huge blaze broke out on the premises of the Dalian University of Technology in China during the graduation ceremony. The students were forced to flee the building, but they found time to take a graduation picture in front of their college going up in smokes.
