Since many morons just like to '-' without grasping any kind of crap that they float in:
1st comic - Make art, you will have created something. That's why paintings nowadays seem to be vomit on a canvas. That's why music is so bad. Because everybody creates something. And nothing created is worthwhile.
2nd comic - So give in to fear and loathing? As any individual evolves and discovers his / her pleasures and his / her fears and loathes, he / she discovers that there is no end to them, so if you just blatantly go head on against your fears and loathes, you've achieved nothing. There's more to personal preferences than defeating your fears. A kid could think otherwise.
3rd comic - You achieve nothing by being stubborn, persistent and determined. You need other qualities. The world is so fucking full of stubborn morons.
4th comic - All I've seen in that comic is that all pleasures in life are taught by society, and that individual happiness cannot be achieved. Great story, really, really great story.
5th comic - An idealistic, utopic world in which all races get along and there are no religious feuds. An ideal that cannot withstand the test of society.
6th comic - Goes greatly with the 4th. They're not contradictory. There are no general laws to be written about happiness and life achievements.
7th comic - It's a mere religious movement.
I'm so sick of you kids posting these kind of crappy comics. Grow the fuck up.

These are words from great men? 12 year olds are not great men, they're boys, hence they might be great boys, but judging from your bananas-for-brain monkey attitude, I wouldn't believe it. They are *inspired from*, they're not the actual quotes, you ignorant monkey. Other than that, I don't consider them great in any manner, other than the fact that they're well known by morons. Lots and lots of morons.
Other than that, I see no reason to continue having an argument with someone whose only argument is that the nudity of his cranium equals void. one of the first rules we learn as adults is this-- if you don't like something and it's not impacting you personally, then let other people have their fun. let other people enjoy their simple pleasures without the need to put them down or analyse them. on another note, a common tendency is for liars to be the first ones to call other people liars... similarly kids to be the first people to call other people kids.

'right' and 'wrong' are meaningless terms, and i would not dream of trying to bullshit you or anyone else upon their import. fact remains, however, that the material in this post is hardly of the standard motivational variety, and i suspect that whatever frustration you have on this issue is clouding your mind to that reality. still, if it makes you feel better, then grouse away. meanwhile i'll keep practicing what i preach; thank you very much. :D

The fact that everything in this world is transcendent and illusory, including all words, has nothing to do with the argument at hand.
Example of a deep quote, in my opinion:
"Once upon a time, [...] there was a star upon which clever beasts invented knowing. then you probably have a long wait on your hands, given the internet, the strength of your opinion, and the nature of provability on non-mathematical systems. anyway, that's a nice piece, certainly. i personally never said that i found all the works in the original posts to be compelling. some of them are pretty facile... perhaps insipid. but part of the reason i liked the astronomers' quotes is because of my belief that deep thoughts are best communicated in simple form in order to be the most universally appreciated. and... is there anything really left to argue about, here?
