It seems that in China people come to IKEA to do anything but actually buy furniture. They sleep on the sofas, hide from the summer heat, have friendly chats while drinking free coffee and even organize speed dating events. Some “clients” come in the morning when the store opens and don’t leave it until the evening. The managers don’t take any measures against people loitering and acting as if they are at home, because they think that it is a good future investment and later those people will definitely return to buy something.
