Former hunter and biologist Valentin Pazhetnov organized a Rescue and Rehabilitation Center for bear cubs in the village of Bubonitsy, Russia. The center shelters the cubs whose parents were killed by hunters during the hibernation and who could otherwise freeze or starve to death.
