@jkh, please understand sleeping on hard surface is normal for Chinese. It's just they prefer it, for health. Please visit China, learn and comment afterwards :)

sleeping on hard surfaces is good for the back and is probably how we evolved sleeping. good for the chinese for keeping it real in this matter.
