#26 first is blue, too. So there is color to B/W not otherwise!

#26 is just a cockup. That's a B-29 but he painted it blue/black like the B-25s.
B-29s (yes all of them) were almost mirror-finish aluminum that weathered into a bright silver/gray. By the time they started coming online, the extra time and money that it would have taken to put color paint on them was deemed unnecessary at that stage of the war.
