The original was great - no need for a remake. Just like Total Recall.

Some parts of the new story seem vaguely interesting. I don't like the new suit, though.

For one, there's no color accents at all, so it just looks like cheap plastic Halloween armor. And second, cops aren't supposed to be Sam Fisher. His presence was meant to be as much a deterrent as generating a response.

The first Total Recall movie has some flaws today (like dated special effects) but there was hardly any need to mace sequel. Old Robocop is still great today and has almost no flaws, so making new movie is pointless.
Unless you want an established legend to promote your crappy moneymakingmachine-wannabe.

I didnt know RoboCop smoked cigarettes.
