Hum, #9 is actually a picture of french actors Guillaume Canet and Dany Boon on the set of the 2005 movie "Joyeux Noël" that was based on the story of the ww1 Christmas truce of 1914.

The picture might be fake but this event really did take place.
Few days later the soldiers didn't want to go back to fighting each other so their commanding officers spred rumors to get them back to fighting the other side.

exactly. and the soldiers were not allowed to repeat the event in subsequent years at the risk of being disciplined harshly or even shot.
