Natural disasters bring out the best in good people. You do not hear about looting and violence because the good people also carry guns.
20 years ago, Hurricane Andrew leveled a portion of South Florida. I was there, I lived it. They complain about being out of power for a few days, I was out of power for 30 days, some more, some less. They will survive and in a few months it will be business as usual.
