The Melkwegbridge was designed by NEXT architects and can be found in Purmerend, the Netherlands. The bridge has steps leading up and over it and because of its height, it is a tourist attraction as it offers incredible views of the city.

This picture is actually of two dogs that were neglected by their owners. The dogs were rescued and rehabilitated and you can see how they are meant to look in the “after” shots of them below.

The World Discoverer, pictured here, was built in 1974 and was used as a cruise ship for over 25 years. However, in April 2000 the ship collided with a reef near the Solomon Islands in the Pacific Ocean and was left there when the local residents stripped the ship of all of its valuable contents. Today, it is a tourist destination and still lies rusting in the sea.
