A New York artist, Sally Davies set out to show the effects of the 'icky' ingredients in some fast food products. Sally has created an artwork called the Happy Meal art project, in which she photographed the daily lack of transformation of a McDonald's Happy Meal 979 days.

I call bullshit on this one. Sure, the fries and patty may stay the same, but there is no freakin' way that the bun would stay that way. It would go moldy within two or three days.

the reason fast food doesn't go moldy like this was explain in great lenght but to summarize :
bun don't go moldy because there is no mold spores in/on it in the first place without this it just dry out.
pretty much the same with cooked meat just dry without bacteria or mold.
and again same with fries.

You can show a smoker what lung cancer looks like when you smoke and that won't stop them from smoking
You can show a alcoholic what happens to a liver when you drink too much, that won't stop them from drinking...
