This 12 storey building can be found in Willow, Alaska and locals refer to it as the “Dr. Seuss House” as a result of its interesting design. Although construction first began on the house 10 years ago, the 12 storey building has only recently been finished.
Because you should always seize the opportunity of learning stuff… oh, and because the view is nice!
In his new photo series, “The Canadian: Ghost Train Crossing Canada”, Jeff Friesen travels across Canada taking photos of the surrounding landscape, in which he artfully places this vintage toy train to make it look like part of the picture.
US photographer, Jack Long, is well known for his unique style of “splash photography” that is completely self-taught. To create these stunning bouquets, he carefully prepares water mixed with thickeners and dyes and then captures the moment that the drop falls through the air using a high speed camera. This series of flower bouquets is entitled, “Vessels and Blooms”.
British TV Star, Chloe Sims, looks gorgeous when she is all made up for a night out on the town. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for her makeup free face in the pics below.
In a routine fire test, this Minnesota hangar was left completely submerged in foam. Beneath the soapy suds lies an entire fleet of the Sikorsky UH-60 "Black Hawk" helicopters (more commonly known as the “Black Hawk Down”).
