Thats CRAZY how its illuminating the sky... poor lil tackers they can barely keep they're poor eyes open. Thankfully they had the water to jump into.
So yeh, I live in Kalgoorlie, our temps the past week have been all 48 degrees.Oh and no rain to boot. My lawn is UBER crunchy. It doesn't usually occur this early in the year. Feb is when we mainly get our real bad highs.
My thoughts with anyone suffering through these fires.

These emotive pictures of the children clinging together around their grandmother under a jetty were taken by their grandfather Tim Holmes. This all took place in the Tasmanian town of Dunalley. The family was forced to wait the fire out as it consumed all nearby residences.
