this is so stupid. In reality, airstrips surrounded by sea are the safest, cause you can always emergency land on water. Read the freaking safety manual and think why they show you floating vests.
Narsarsuaq Airport, Greenland. Severe turbulences and winds from the surrounding fjords make this airport a hard task for pilots. Only daytime take-offs and landings allowed, thankfully.
