this is so stupid. In reality, airstrips surrounded by sea are the safest, cause you can always emergency land on water. Read the freaking safety manual and think why they show you floating vests.
Another risky beach airport: the Copalis State Airport's (Grays Harbor County, Washington) runway is located between the Copalis River delta and a barrier of rocks.
