#14 - Women seem to be objectified and mocked fairly frequently on this site, but I think a lot of people forget that it was almost exclusively women that built and maintained planes, tanks, operated radar, communications, transcribed Morse code, amongst many other critical wartime tasks.

In the last pic (40), the guards look like sailors to me.
A Sherman tank of the 2nd Armored Irish Guards rammed a King Tiger of 21st Panzer Div. in the rear, disabling both, before capturing it's crew. - Operation Goodwood, July 18th 1944
