Global warming may cause coastal cities around the world to become flooded. 24 year old researcher and artist, Nickolay Lamm, decided to create animations of what this would really look like using maps published by the New York Times in 2012. Here is his collection of work, showing sea level changes in the USA, brought to life.
The “Allure of the Seas” is the biggest passenger ship ever constructed and can fit 6,318 guests in total along with 2,384 crew members. One guy recently took a tour of the ship’s facilities (at a cost of approx. $150) to provide this mindboggling look at the backstage activities that take place in order to keep the ship running smoothly.
It’s quite rare (a first for me) to see a police pursuit from the point of view of a bike cop.
