Boxing Legend Joe Fraizer Didn't Think Barney Gumble Could Knock Him Out
The script originally had Barney giving Smokin Joe a TKO, but Fraizer didn't like that idea at all. The script was changed to having Joe knock out Barney.

#7, IIRC he actually based the phrase on the old oliver hardy catchphrase and did it in the voice of walter matthau. then the director told him to speed it way up to make it funnier, and "d'oh" was born.
